Here are the bathhouses or spas I have been to in my travels and my personal opinion of each:
Chicago Steamworks -- I go to this one almost every time I am in Chicago. This was the first bathhouse I ever went to; it was in 1996, when it was still the Unicorn. It is the biggest and best of any I have been to. Has a healthy mix of all types and ages, and guys are usually friendly. I'm rarely disappointed.
Paris Gym Louvre -- I went here several times when I was working in Paris. They have a fitness center upstairs and a bathhouse downstairs. Not huge or crowded, but had enough guys to keep things interesting, and it was clean. I didn't speak French so that didn't help when a guy couldn't speak English. I was at about 50/50 at finding a satisfying hookup.
Club Indianapolis -- This place is small and full of older white guys who were out of shape. Can't remember having a decent hookup here.
Club Fort Lauderdale -- Met some really interesting guys in FTL at this place in the 2000s. I liked their little grotto steam room and can remember sucking the rock hard cock of a tall athletic beauty in there. Met another sweet young guy poolside and I brought him back to my room and he ate out my ass. Good times.
Club Orlando -- This used to be quite a happening place in the early 2000s, full of hot young guys especially on weekends and with tons of action in the sauna, steam room, and hot tub. But I went there once in the mid 2010s and it was dead. Haven't been back since.
Club Dallas -- Nice layout and clean, but other than that it was not memorable.
Century Spa in Koreatown, Los Angeles -- I guess there are bathhouses in LA but I haven't found them. This place is a Korean spa and technically is not a place for having sex. But I found sex going on in the steam room, sauna, clay room, and the little patio off the wet area. And some of the sex was really fun and the guys were hot. But because it's technically forbidden, it seems like you are unlikely to strike up a conversation with anyone. And when the sex finally gets going, the interruption that comes from having others walk in gets a bit frustrating.
New York City -- I have not heard anything good about the bathhouses or spas in NYC so I don't have much to say about the scene here. But if any of you have some tips, I travel to NYC pretty regularly and still wonder where a guy can go to meet other guys who are interested in having sex.
