There are still only 2 plaintiffs in this NOLA lawsuit despite that very eager attorney trying to get enough to make it a class action suit. And one of the plaintiffs is the child of the owner. They have been making repairs from the initial issues and even suing the material providers for selling material not as advertised.
I'm sure the NOLA lawsuit will work itself out. Pitt hasn't walked away at all.
None of his children testified at the custody hearings. That is some spin by Jolie people. We have no idea how they feel about their father who they once supposedly adored until that got in the way of their mother's need to totally control custody.
We still don't know who put what amount of money into Miraval when it was purchased - if you go by everything else in their relationship, I would bet anything it was mostly Pitt's money and very little, if any, of hers. He has carried the bulk of their living and purchasing since they got together. Yet he allowed the ownership docs to give her a 40% share of the estate. Later around the time of the engagement-marriage Brad gave her 10% share for nothing so they would be equal owners. That 10% is in question legally now because there was no exchange of value for it and that makes it illegal. Brad is challenging the 10% in court.
Pitt and Jolie partnered with an old wine making family, the Perrins. Pitt & Jolie owned 50% and Perrin owned 50%.
Something happened that Pitt would not pay what Jolie wanted so she sold it to someone else - Stoli who tends to act as a locust with other companies. I am sure Joie is laughing that she sold to some Russian oligarch. Until recently Jolie refused to tell Brad and the Perrins and the court who she was trying to and eventually sold her shares in the estate and in the company to. I think we can see why she wanted to keep it hidden. Brad is now suing to vacate the sale and suing for access to the sale documents between Jolie and Stoli - I think he suspects she sold for less than he was offering and that would vacate her sale as violative of his right of first purchase.
Brad and the Perrins are also refusing to partner with Stoli in any decisions in terms of the estate and the company until the 10% is decided by the court - which could easily vacate Jolie's sale to Stoli or diminish Stoli's control of the company and direction of the estate itself. Stoli is trying to claim that Brad has mismanaged the estate and parroting Jolie that Brad acts without their permission - no that he needs it. Jolie claimed in one court filing that Brad took actions wothout her consent biut Brad countered by showing that she had not contributed anything to the estate or company since not long after they bought it. That all the money for rehabbing & maintaining the estate as well as starting up the company & expanding it came from him and Perrin.
I think it seems that Jolie got a free ride from Pitt for a long time and she wanted and continues to want that to continue.
The only investigation that is going on with the psychologists in the divorce/custody case arises from a complaint Jolie made. The law requires that the complaint be investigated. Jolie is not happy that this (these) psychologists found that there was no behavior by Brad to prevent him from having 50-50 custody and that she had engaged in parental alienation and god knows what else. She is out to destroy anyone who disagreed with her or stood in her way of getting total control.
I was once a fan of Jolie's and I am appalled at the incredible evil bitch she seems to be. Once your eyes are open it's easy to see the manipulation and deceit she employs. Every time she tries to smear Pitt the truth comes out and she looks like a liar and manipulator.
Her fans are batshit crazy and can't even grasp the meaning of court documents.
Brad has never fought his battles in public and he rarely speaks on these issues. I imagine he will continue to let the courts do their thing and hope that patience will help his children and their relationship with him.
