Cheryl Bruce Obituary, Death Cause – Cheryl Bruce, age 79, a resident of Armstrong Creek, passed away suddenly on October 1 at the Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay. She was the daughter of Edward and Stella (Wozniak) Tatar and was born on January 7th, 1944 in the town of Laona. On February 1, 1964, in the city of Chicago, Cheryl and Ronald Bruce exchanged vows and became husband and wife. He passed away on March 31, 2011, a day before she did. She thoroughly liked baking, traveling to the casino, and most of all, taking care of her birds.

Cheryl never stopped moving, whether she was going to see her friends or going to an event in the neighborhood. She thoroughly enjoyed her time spent working at the Goodman Meal Site. Her three sons, Ronald W. (Michelle) Bruce Jr. of Armstrong Creek, David M. (Sharon) Bruce of Ocala, FL, and John E. (Candy) Bruce of Tennessee; her six grandchildren, Tasha, Michael, Christopher, Valerie, Samantha, and Coty; her three great grandchildren; her mother, Stella; and two brothers, Edward (Christina) and Dan (Brenda) Wozniak; all survive Cheryl.

Her father, Edward, along with her brothers Larry and Beverly, passed away before her. She was the only child in her family. Visitation will be held at Fence Bible Church on the Saturday, October 7, 2023, beginning at 9:30 am and continuing until the time of her burial ceremony at 11 am. The ceremony will be presided over by Pastor Tim Smith. After the service, interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Fence. The family of Cheryl is receiving assistance with the arrangements from the Roubal Funeral Home in Wausaukee.
