Chuck Todd Steps in It Again

On Meet the Press, Chuck Todd falsely claimed that both parties engage in antidemocratic power grabs like the GOP has been doing in Wisconsin.

There’s no evidence of that.

Why doesn’t NBC fire him? He’s appalling.

How did this dull faced turnip get on TV anyway? Who even likes him?

He carries water for Republicans.

He is the reason I turn the channel.

He's a Republican even though he pretends not to be. It was guys like him who pushed Bernie vs Hillary well after Bernie lost the primary. He lies quite a bit. I don't know why people haven't said ENOUGH and boycotted him, especially considering all the people I've seen who said they gave up entirely on the channel because of Chuck Todd.

I am glad someone is writing about this. I almost choked on food when he said this. Ughh, he needs to get fire.

I remember when this asshole said Hillary was over-prepared for a presidential debate. Really, he said that.

Bernie Sanders was just mad he didn't get to lick Hillary Clinton's mushy ass.

I watch Chuck on MTP on sundays and MTP daily on tuesday through friday (mondays are hosted by katy tur(?)) so let me be the first to say he doesn't come across as overly partisan towards dems or repubs. He DOES sometimes bend over into "both-sides-ism" which I think is what he was doing here, but the media as a whole does this all the time, not just him (and you can thank fox news' "conservatives are victims" nonstop mantra for that). I don't know how not having Trump as a president might better reveal his leanings, but as of now he is pretty anti-trump (to the extent that any mainstream reporter can be seen to be).

All American corporate media is right wing despite throwing crumbs to placate liberals. The US fucked up by not creating a national broadcaster like the BBC or CBC. But, that wasn’t and isn’t the American way where profit means absolutely everything, so we got stuck with the likes of ABC, NBC and CBS selling us cereal and beer with news and programming being grudgingly delivered between ads as an afterthought.

What about letting that Danielle Pletka bitch push her anti-global warming bullshit a week ago that went viral? He just let her go on and on.

r16 She's always loopy. There's a couple conservatives in the cast that are (almost) always total suck ups to elected republicans, her, the one with the mexican accent, etc. but they reveal themselves pretty quick. The conservatives I find myself liking are george will and bill crystal, but ONLY because they also lambaste Trump and I'm sure our affair will end the second a democrat takes the office.

I really thought MSNBC was many steps above CNN and far away from fox news. I didn't know, at least as of late that they were allowing crazy people onto the network.

MSNBC seems to be a bit more serious about the news than other cable "news" networks.

MSNBC is miles above CNN. CNN often has panels that are crowded with like 8 guests who all start shouting at each other. And they have Trump surrogates on constantly, from what I can tell.

MSNBC doesn’t do anything like that. Rarely, they will have a Trump surrogate on but that is truly rare. I watch most of its programming from 12 noon to 12 midnight. Ari had that nutcase Candace Owens on recently (a few months ago). It did not go well. Hugh Hewitt is often on Chuck’s shows. The people who come on and espouse conservative ideology or support for Trump are few and far between. It’s basically all Trump news, Trump criticism, all day long, every day.

Chuck Todd is an outlier. I can’t think of another host who does the “both sides are bad” shit he does, and every other host would push back STRONGLY if anyone else tried the shit Danielle Pletka says. Chuck is seriously the biggest pussy on there.

It’s tragic that NBC allows him to host MTP on Sundays.

To be fair, he does have good guests on most of the time, and lately he’s been stepping up his “This looks really bad for Trump!” observations.

Who thinks Chuck Todd is good at his job? Anyone at all? ANYONE?

He totally sucks, and looks like a greasy ferret. If I'm going to listen to a slanted right wing moron, isn't there a less ugly one?
