Shockingly enough, there are sweet, good-looking guys who don't automatically reject other guys. I was one of the 'other guys' in high school, and became one of the nice-looking guys when I was taking college classes. In high school, I was assigned to tutor the HS quarterback (a gorgeous Italian-American) in science, and although we didn't have sex, he showed me a lot of warmth and affection, and built my confidence.
