Gregory Morris Obituary, Death – It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gregory Brian Morris of Charlottetown, who left this world on December 16, 2023, at the age of 50. Greg passed away at the QEH, surrounded by the love of his beloved wife, Vanessa, and his dear mother, Virginia. He was predeceased by his father, Brian, and leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Greg will be deeply missed by his many uncles, aunts, cousins, and lifelong friends. The family extends a special thank you to Peter and Jill for their unwavering professional and personal care during Greg’s journey. Heartfelt gratitude is expressed to all the nurses and doctors who attended to Greg, with special mention to Dr. McCarvill and Lisa Bishop. The nurses at the Cancer Treatment Centre, who treated Greg like a brother, and the nurse “angels” on Unit 2 also received the family’s thanks.
For those who had the privilege of knowing Greg, the next time you tee off, sail into Charlottetown Harbour, or share a hearty laugh over a funny story, remember him with fondness. Visitation to pay respects to Greg will be held on Wednesday, December 20, from 4-7 pm at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will take place at the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer on Thursday, December 21, at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the QEH Foundation or The PEI Humane Society in memory of Greg.
