from the Beauty and the Beast TV show.
Was it a practical joke to cast her in that role?

She was beautiful. What's your problem with her, OP?

no. she was cute as hell when she was younger. even better because she was a non-conventional beauty.
she also kicked ass in T2, and was scarier than all of the menbots combined.

A little gasoline. Blowtorch.

OP, who would you cast in the part?

A square face on a woman is hard to pull off but the ones for whom it works are so exceptionally beautiful because it's unusual. I always though Linda Hamilton was very attractive. And not in a generic bland way.

Her character was a Radcliff-girl. Her looks fit the profile.

Does anyone remember the film "The Stone Boy"? She had a small role towards the end of the film and I fell in love with her in those 10 minutes. I think she's lovely and commend her for aging like a real human being.

Before Beauty she was on a night time soap I thought was fascinating but it only had like 4 episodes. Kings Crossing.

At least Ron and Linda weren't generic compared to the reboot.

I never liked her as an actress R1

She looks like a very heavy smoker with the same eating disorder that Angelina Jolie has where they don't eat any fat and dry out from the inside.
Awful.

That's where I first saw her too, R9.

From her Wikipedia page:
[quote]Hamilton has described herself politically as a Democrat, but she voted for Republican candidate Arnold Schwarzenegger, her Terminator co-star, in the 2003 California gubernatorial election after his campaign convinced her he was suitable for the job

R15 I'm sure that is what she told her friend Arnie but voted differently.
