Madonna Documentary Actress and Lookalike Jamie Auld has Died

She played a younger Madonna in the Breakfast Club documentary detailing Madonna's life in New York City in the late 70's. Cause of death rumored to be complications from an eating disorder.

That’s sad. She was discovered in a doughnut shop when she was cast as Madonna. The casting was just perfect.

Eating disorder? Sad, If she played present day Madonna, she’d still be alive.

I thought she was good in that movie and I bet it will remain much better than the upcoming sanctioned biopic. It was a very small movie but occasionally captured the ambiance of young Madonna gritty marginal milieu.

Has an official cause of death been declared?

It was rumored to be due to an eating disorder. She also wasn't doing very well in the last year or two due to the death of her mother. Jamie was studying for a career in fashion before she died.

Uhm she didn't look anorexic...so, how do you die from bulimia? Choking to death?

There are pictures of her in which she looks very slim and her hair is longer - almost like a different person.

Vomiting too much over time can cause cirrhosis of the esophagus, and additional vomiting runs the risk of bleeding, which can be unstoppable. I once heard a story of a longtime alcoholic who died that way.

Also, recovered anorexics can die from complications from anorexia years after they technically recovered. Starvation and regaining weight wreaks havoc on the heart.
