Piers (Japanese: ネズ Nezu) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. He forms a sync pair with Obstagoon. The sync pair can be obtained through the sync pair scout, starting from February 18, 2021. The pair's potential can be upgraded to 
6★ EX since it was first released, which unlocks Piers's EX Style.
Piers in his sygna suit forms a sync pair with Low Key Form Toxtricity. This pair can be obtained through a Poké Fair sync pair scout beginning on November 2, 2023. This pair can be raised to 6★ EX since it first released.

- Excluding Grimsley & Liepard, whose banner had to be ended early and restarted to fix a glitch, Piers & Obstagoon are the sync pair with the shortest gap between their initial run and first rerun, at 88 days.

Origin
Piers's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Sword and Shield. Obstagoon is Piers's signature Pokémon in the core series games. Obstagoon's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Sword.
