To commemorate Halloween, the title screen has been changed to feature Mimikyu in place of Pikachu among the 4 icons that appear before the game's title. This Halloween-themed pool includes Pikachu (Spooky), Gastly, Haunter, Gengar (Spooky), Drifloon, Sableye (Spooky), Pumpkaboo (Spooky), Gourgeist (Spooky), Litwick, Lampent, Chandelure, and Mimikyu. However, the 3DS home menu launch screen remains unchanged.
