Practical Magic - my fave Halloween movie!

I love the house. I love the 3 male love interests. I love Stockard Channing and Dianne Weist.

And Sandra Bullock and Nicol Kidman never looked better with their long wigs and peak late-90s fashion.

One of my favourites in general, not just for Halloween.

Sorry, Nicole Kidman - I'll "Oh, dear" myself.

The house was a frame built on a platform in San Juan Island in Washington State.

Naturally, before discovering this, Barbra Streisand tried to buy it.

A good movie. It would be either dumbed down for Hallmark or made for Netflix these days and forget about building that fabulous house and stunning kitchen set from scratch.

Nicole Kidman was never more beautiful and surprisingly impish in this role. The same wig was used during season 1 of Big Little Lies.

Kidman and Bullock were so beautiful in this. And yes, that house - real or not - was gorgeous.

So what would DLers rather do: midnight margaritas or jump off the roof and fly on Halloween?

Better than Hocus Pocus.

Nicole Kidman, Sandra Bullock and Sarah Jessica Parker were all at the height of their beauty in these films.

It wasn't as good as i remembered. But i still want to read the prequel that came out a few years ago.

I remember I was so underwhelmed, because I was hoping for something more like The Craft and it was just stupid Hallmark BS where Bullock played the conservative sensible sister and Kidman played the stupid, reckless one who needs to be constantly saved by her conservative, sensible sister.

I wonder if those two fucked.

Could not even watch half of this movie. Unless it somehow didn’t turn out like a Lifetime movie, it’ll remain unwatched.
