Release information
This card was included as both a Regular card and a Full Art card in the English Primal Clash expansion, first released in the Japanese Tidal Storm expansion. The Regular print features artwork by Yusuke Ohmura, while the Full Art print features artwork by Hitoshi Ariga. The Regular print was later reprinted in the Japanese M Rayquaza-EX Mega Battle Deck, and the Golduck BREAK + Palkia-EX Combo Deck.

Professor Birch is the resident Pokémon Professor of the Hoenn region. The interior of his laboratory in Littleroot Town is featured in the Regular print's illustration.
