Richard Walker Obituary, Death Cause – Some of us quietly thank and pray for unsung heroes who have affected our lives. The bravery of Richard K. Walker Sr., who died of cancer, is remembered today. We lovingly called Rick one of “our guys” in TBTS (To Be There Soon), which supported deployed service members. Rick saved several soldiers by connecting them to home and the battlefield throughout his missions. He was more than a friend—he represented optimism and determination. Rick discovered how to deliver packages beyond postal calls when most of us couldn’t.

His devotion, resourcefulness, and compassion were limitless. He went above and beyond to deliver care gifts, providing joy and comfort to individuals far from home. He had a huge influence on servicemen and women. Rick’s service went beyond war. After returning home, he supported his teammates by listening and lending a shoulder. He showed fraternity by supporting his fellow troops in battle and peace.

As we say goodbye to Rick, we thank him for his service and unwavering devotion to our military. We remember his efforts, selflessness, and numerous lives he impacted. In sadness and celebration of a life well lived, we pray. Rest peacefully, brother, and watch us till we meet again. Those you impacted will remember your bravery, generosity, and constant support. Richard K. Walker Sr. will always inspire and represent real heroism.
