Sky-Blue Plains (Japanese: 青空草原 Blue Sky Plains), formatted as Sky Blue Plains in Red and Blue Rescue Team, is a Friend Area in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team and a rescue team camp in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX in the Plains area. In Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team, it has a capacity of 13 Pokémon. All of the Pokémon that reside here are Normal- or Psychic-type in Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team; in Rescue Team DX, many of the Pokémon that reside here are now Fairy-type.
In Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team, it is obtained as a reward from an optional mission. In Rescue Team DX, it is given away as a free camp when talking to Wigglytuff for the first time.
After receiving this Friend Area, the player receives a mission to rescue a Smeargle, which unlocks Howling Forest. After completing that mission, the rescued Smeargle will join the rescue team and offer to redesign the flag outside of the Rescue Team Base.
After clearing Pitfall Valley and unlocking this Friend Area, Purity Forest is unlocked.
Geography
Sky-Blue Plains is grassy field located on the top of a plateau. A tree grows in the middle of the field, which is the main feature that separates it from the Beau Plains and Sacred Field.
