He's tweeted pictures of his boyfriend and talks about him. It was mentioned on a forum, caused a brief discussion then they all went back to talking about his next album. It really wasn't felt to be that big a deal.

There have been other gay rappers. What about the one who did the 'Throw that Boy Pussy' song.

No, that's another actor from the show, Reid Ewing, who came out as gay last year. Nolan isn't out yet, but DL consensus seems to be that he's gay as well.

But even if he's gay - considering that there are countless middle-aged multimillionaires who parade around with beards, do we really need to criticize a penniless teenager trying to make it in a notoriously homophobic genre who posts about loving his boyfriend on social media for not going all the way?

I must have skipped over the part of the interview where he made any statement on his sexuality.

His music is shit and I doubt he'll get far unless he goes the Macklemore route and produces his own albums. It's awesome that he's bi, but he comes across as a hipster who's struggling with his race more than his sexuality.
