After leaving Zoey 101, Alexa Nikolas took a step back from the limelight. Per Insider, Nikolas took on guest roles in shows such as The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Supernatural, and Criminal Minds. Nikolas' last role roles were in 2013 on Mad Men and The Walking Dead. Since leaving Zoey 101, things haven't been the easiest for Nikolas. The actor was previously married to Canadian singer-songwriter Michael Milosh of the band Rhye, per NPR. In March 2021, Nikolas broke her silence about her relationship with Milosh. In a series of Instagram posts, Nikolas accused the singer of domestic violence and sexual assault. She also claims Milosh groomed her as a minor.
Milosh later released a statement addressing his ex-wife's claims. "I reiterate that these accusations are outrageously false and the manipulated stories provably untrue," Milosh said (via NPR). "I'm fully prepared to cooperate with any independent investigation into these false claims and look forward to being cleared of all the shameless mirrors."
As of this writing, Nikolas is currently in a relationship with Michael Gay, and the couple welcomed their first child together in November 2020.
